Inspired Executive Conference Rooms
5 Words Media was contracted in 2015 by Western Union Global to integrate their
Inspired Executive conference rooms at their global headquarters in Englewood, CO. The
Executive Boardroom was a collaborative effort between 5 Words Media & the design team at
Nautilus Entertainment Design.
The AV systems design consisted of two 90” Sharp Aquos LCD Displays controlled by a
Crestron DM 16X16 Digital Matrix Switcher. The DM Switcher was populated with 4K input
and output cards to handle the content demands of Western Union’s executive leadership
team.
5WM Deployed a Polycom Realpresence Group 700 system with an Additional Eagle Eye IV Camera system to handle Video Teleconferencing duties between the Global office and it’s subsidiaries. The RPG 700 was augmented with an Eagle Eye Producer system to handle automatic facial tracking of meeting participants during video conference calls. Content
sharing for the space was deployed using a Crestron AirMedia 100 for wireless connectivity and a Vaddio AV Bridge with USB 3.0 connectivity located in the boardroom table plug in stations.
Audio capture was handled by 16 channels of Shure MX
Wireless table microphones deployed around the executive
boardroom table with processing being handled by a Biamp Tersera Forte Digital Signal Processor with AEC integration. Sound reinforcement in the room was provided by Tannoy601 Series ceiling speakers with Crown amplification. Control of the entire system was handled via a Crestron PRO3 controller with a 10.1” Touchscreen interface. 5WM worked with the systems programmer from ControlFreaks to provide custom programming for the user interface and device control. The entire system wasdesigned and installed within a 60 day timeframe.
