About 5 Words Media
After college, our CEO and founder, Daniel Gourley, turned down jobs with production and install companies so he could go to work for his local church. In his eight years as a tech director, he discovered something:
Most production companies think local churches work like any other concert venue.
Spoiler alert: they don't. Pastors, worship teams, tech volunteers, and congregations have a whole set of needs that most production companies don't even consider.
So when Daniel founded 5 Words Media in 2009, he wanted to take his experience in church production and help other congregations create the audio, video, and lighting systems they need to make stronger connections and a bigger impact.
